Common questions.
Straightforward answers about evaluations, funding, payouts and the engine behind them.
Evaluations & rules
What is an evaluation?
A challenge that measures your trading against a published rule set — a profit target inside daily and overall drawdown limits, over a minimum number of trading days. Pass it and you can trade a funded account.
Is this real-money trading?
No. Evaluations run in a simulated environment marked to a live price feed. No order is executed in a real market. Funded payouts are real; the trading itself is a paper environment.
What makes a breach "provable"?
The engine stores immutable trades and equity snapshots and re-derives your lifecycle deterministically. On any breach you see the exact rule, its limit, the value that crossed it and the triggering trade — reproducible at any time.
Can the rules change after I buy?
No. Your program's full rule set is frozen onto your account at purchase and stays visible on your account panel for the life of the account.
Funded accounts & payouts
What is the profit split?
Up to 90% on funded accounts, set per program and shown before you buy. You keep your split of realized profit.
How fast are payouts?
Payouts are KYC-gated and reviewed for consistency before release, typically within 24–48 hours. Each comes with a branded statement you can download and verify.
Why do I need KYC?
Identity verification is required before your first payout to meet anti-money-laundering obligations and protect both sides. See our AML & KYC Policy.
How much can I withdraw?
Only realized profit above your starting balance is withdrawable. Your dashboard shows the exact amount available, and a Max button fills it for you.
Platforms & payments
Which platforms can I trade on?
The built-in simulation engine ships by default. Operators can also connect Match-Trader, with MT5 and cTrader on the same adapter. Whatever the source, Mettle's own engine applies the rules.
How do I pay?
Card and bank rails plus USDT are supported, depending on what the operator has enabled. Fees are shown at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
Evaluation fees are generally non-refundable once trading begins, with exceptions set out in our Refund Policy (billing errors, technical faults, or where required by law).
